[Variation in the migration of chemical elements in the manure-treated sandy loam soils]

Studies of the effects of straw manure and semisolid manure, as well as mineral fertilizers on the migration of chemical elements in Epidystric Cambisol (CMd-p) were carried out at the Voke Branch of the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture in 1987-1998. Straw manure and semiliquid manure were applied annually at a rate of N300. Straw manure (N600) was applied in alternation with mineral NPK fertilizers. It was established that the infiltration of precipitation into Epidystric Cambisol (CMp-p) made up on average 28.7-35.9 per year under the climatic conditions of Eastern Lithuania. The infiltration in the unfertilized soil was 2.0-7.2 higher compared with that in the fertilized soil
