[Seed rates of red clover (Trifolium pratense L.) of binateral ploidy and common timothy (Phleum pratense L.) in their binary mixtures]

Seven trials were carried out over the period 1993-1999: 4 at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture in Dotnuva on productive epicalcari - epihypogleyic cambisoils (CMg-p-w-cap), and 3 in the Vezaiciai Branch on less productive orthidystric albeluvisols (ABd-o). Diploid early T. pratense L. 'Liepsna' and tetraploid cv. 'Vyliai' were sown at seed rates of 10, 7.5, 5 and 2.5 kg/ha of 100 viable seed in binary mixtures with 4 and 2 kg of Ph. pratense L.
