[Forms of development of cooperatives in agricultural sector]

This paper analyses the evolution of co-operation in Lithuanian agriculture during the past hundred years. It is determined that co-operation has greatly depended on farming conditions and traditions of communication, the state policy and other economical conditions. The most perspective precondition for development of co-operation at present and in near future is to have co-operatives, in which cost of production raw materials has an important comparative weight - i.e. co-operatives of facilities, realisation, finance and representation of interests.
