124 high school and college students (age 15-19 yrs.) were selected by simple random sampling to study the comparison between intramuscular (IM) and intradermal (ID) administration of Hepatitis B vaccination. Comparison between mean antibody titer of IM and ID methods showed significant difference in males (p=0.031) but in females this comparison showed no significant difference (p=0.21). Seroprotection ratio between IM and ID methods were 1.07 without statistical difference (p=0.24). Mean antibody titer in IM and ID methods showed significant difference (p=0.023). It was concluded that the use of ID method in females was very effective with desirable antibody titer and good seroprotection rate.
