The effect of soil forming processes and natural environmental condition on phosphorus compounds content and distribution in Puszcza Kampinoska soils: both in the strictly protected and partly protected zones was studied. Mineral and organic forms of phosphorus were determined in the soils mineral horizons with use of the modified Gigiel's technique in the solution of oxalic acid and ammonia. On average, the amount of mineral and organic phosphorus in the extracts of oxalic acid and ammonia was equal 85-90 percent of phosphorus soluble in 20 percent HCl
