[Measures on therapy and prophylaxis of ascariasis of swine taking into account reproductive activity of female helminths]

During the research, swine ascariasis, ascaris female ovulation and anti-helminth effectiveness of some drugs are studied to determine the effect of sow physiology in post-natal and lactational periods on A. suum female fertility and on the basis thereof to develop scientifically substantiated arrangements of managing and controlling pig ascariasis. As a result, the impact of animal immune system and hormones (prolactin and cortisol) on the burst of post-natal and lactational ovulation of female ascarises is specified. Arrangements on disease therapy and prophylaxis are developed. A modification of the quantitative method to calculate the content of T- and B-lymphocytes in animal blood is proposed.
