Effect of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae on some natural enemies of rice insect pests

Studies were conducted on two entomogenous fungi: Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae to evaluate their effect on some natural enemies of rice insect pests. The results showed that both of the fungi used at the dose of 6x 1012 cinidia/ha in the rice fields had no adverse effect on predatory wolf spider as Lycosa pseudoannulata, Araneus inustus, Atypena, Tetragnatha maxillosa; mirid bug, Cyrtorhinus lividipennis and predatory bug, Polytoxus fuscovittatus.
