The role of the policy "allocation of forest and forestry land" on forest restoration in Cho Don district -Backan province

The article reviewed some results of study on evaluation of impacts of "allocation of forest and forestry land" policy on the restoration and protection of forest in Cho Don district, Backan province. The information on forestry of the studied area were collected for illustrating the situation of forest management at present time. During the period 1992-2001, the replanted areas were remarkably increased and deforestation was reduced.
