Some remarks on Trematoda species parasiting in the digestive organ of cattle in several representative regions at TayNguyen highland

The authors estimated that there were 12 species of Trematoda parasiting in the digestive organ of cattle after examining 769 faeces samples collected from 6 presentative regions and identifying helminth samples selected from 62 operated cows in the Tay Nguyen highland. Among them there were 11 species parasiting in stomac and 1 species parasiting in liver of cows. 6 of 12 species which caused commonly too much damage for cattle, were as follows: Fasciola gigantica, Paramphistomum explanatum, Paramphistomum gotoi, Gastrothylax crumenifer, Fischoederius cobboldi, Fischoederius japonicus. In cattle population, the Fasciola spp infection rates were higher than Paramphistomata species infection rates. On the contracy, the Fasciola spp infection intensities were lowest than Paramphistomata species infection intensity in cattle. The cattle infected by Fasciola spp appear usually a cronic disease with several character symtoms as: thin and weak body; anemia; digestive disturbance; diarshoe... At the end, diseased animals would be died by weakness. In operating cows affected heavily by Fascioliasis, we saw some following lesions: inflammable liver, bilary duct and nectar with fibrosclerosis and haemorrhagia. Okazan with dose of 10mg/kg body weight removed out Fasciola spp with highest cleaning rate (100 percent) and Paramphistomata species with high cleaning rate (80 percent). Dovenix with dose of 10 mg/kg body weight only cleaned fasciola spp with high rate (100 percent), but, it was not effective for Paramphistomata species in catlle.
