Analysis of combining ability of maize inbreds extracted from commercial hybrids for their merits in breeding work

Analysing combining abilities of inbreds extracted from commercial hybrids in comparing to their orginal inbred parents reveraled advantages for breeding work. When crosses to 3 inbred testers, new inbreds formed some crosses yielded better than that of original hybrids. Combining abilities of some new inbreds were higher than that of original parental inbreds. Those encourage the use of recycled inbred extracted from commercial hybrid.
