Expriments on seven cropping systems were conducted during July-October, 1994, at the experimental field of Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus. Monocropped vegetable soybean gave the highest net return/rai followed by baby corn/vegetable soybean intercroppin planting row ratio 1:1, monocropped baby corn, baby corn/mung bean intercropping planting row ratio 1:1, baby corn/cowpea intercropping planting row ratio 1:1, monocropped mung bean and monocropped cowpea, respectively. Net losts were found to be with monocropped mung bean and monocropped cowpea. Land Equivalent Ratio (LER) analysis in term of yield showed that the baby corn/vegetable soybean intercropping was slightly higher than baby corn/mung bean and baby corn/cowpea intercroppings.
