Calibration for grain moisture meter

To obtain accurate values of moisture content in grain by electrical moisture testers, calibration of the measured data is necessary. This study compares the values of moisture contents in "RD7" rice obtained from moisture testers with those calculated from the oven method. It was found that prediction equations, Y=-2.4555 + 1.0812 X and Y=-21.133 + 2.5388 X, were determined for calibration of moisture content from Steinlite model 400 G and Crop moisture tester model G-6C respectively.
