The domestic cats high' protein requirement along with its need for taurine, arachidonic acid, and preformed vitamin A, imposes a requirement for the inclusion of animal tissues in the diet of this species. The specific nutritional idiosyncrasies and possibility of deficiencies are more frequent in cats than dogs. In our report we are shown a more frequent developmental anomalies in kitten caused by nutritive deficiencies in queens.
