Effectiveness and efficiency of rapeseed production in Vojvodina [Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro)]

The paper examines the economic position of rapeseed production by analysing the indicators of effectiveness and efficiency of big production units in Vojvodina. As earlier investigations have shown this production is marked with high investments. The results obtained are not sufficient enough to cover the production costs, so that production efficiency is reduced and so is, consequently, its competitiveness to other crops.
