This site provides a collection of links to around 150 sites that are of interest to forest researchers who are working within Africa or are concerned with forest conservation, forestry, agroforestry or forest products in Africa. The links include other gateways and portals, online documents, email lists, news, databases, and organizational home pages, and are categorized both by type of resource and by topic. The links are provided by information consultant Dr. Anne Handley, and the site has been constructed as the basis of a proposal for a service which should eventually be updated regularly by people working in the field. The site is to be developed further in conjunction with FORNESSA.
