Effect of Azotobacter liquid bioinoculants on Grain and fodder yield of hybrid Sorghum

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of Azotobacter liquid bioinoculants on grain yield, fodder and yield contributing components in hybrid sorghum. There was significant increase in grain yield, fodder and yield contributing components viz., number of grains and grain weight earhead-1, 100 grain weight and harvest index due to foliar application with three sprays of Vitormone at 30, 60 and 90 DAS in both the hybrid sorghum varieties than other treatments. The hybrid sorghum variety CSH-9 responded better for Azotobacter liquid bioinoculant application than Amaranath 251.
