Studies on nutrient solution culture of roses [Rosa] using carbonized chaff instead of rock wool as medium

How to dispose of rockwool waste has become an important question recently. Because of this, we studied the productivity of the nutrient cultivation of roses using an alternative to rock wool with a view to solving this problem. The results are as follows: 1) The number of rose flowers harvested from one stock in carbonized chaff (CC) and coconut palm fiber (CP) was a little more than rock wool. The quality of the flowers (length andvase life ofcutroses) was no different between the rock wool alternative and rock wool. 2) It is possible to control rose hydroponics using the combination system with CC and waterpotential moisture sensor. The number of rose flowers harvested from one stock in CC was a little more than rock wool.
