The White-spotted Spined Bugs, Eysarcoris aenus (Scopoli), causes "pecky rice". The life history of this bug is seldom understood, it investigated the seasonal prevalence of occurrence of the adult in the paddy field, the action characteristics of the adult, and the ovary growth degree of the female in 1998, and considered the possibility of the forecast. The results are summarized as follows. The number of the females caught by the first half of the period of ripe stage from the heading of rice plants time showed the tendency that increases more than the males. However, between the number of female, and the number of male, the significant difference was not seen as the result. Thus, the sex ratio of the adult in the paddy field did not incline extremely. The migration capability of female and male was measured with easy equipment. Consequently, it was suggested that the female is equipped with migration capability higher than the male. About 80% of the individual of the female captured in the paddy fields were the individual that could lay eggs, which possessed the maturity eggs. Thus, it was thought that Eysarcoris aenus (Scopoli) was feeding, copulation, and the egg laying in the paddy field.
