Roller-compacted concrete(RCC) dam have gained acceptance worldwide in a relatively short time due to their low cost, which is derived in part from their rapid method of construction. And RCC has recently emerged as an economically attractive material for dam construction, replacing the use of conventional concrete and even challenging the economics of earthfill and rockfill embankment dams.
