Anaerobic Acid and Methane Fermentation using Paper Wastes

This study was carried out to investigate the possibility of reusing newspaper or paperbox waste by methane fermentation. When 15 g of newspaper and box wastes were digested separately for 24 days by batch fermentation, the amount of total organic acids produced were 2461 and 4978 mg/L, respectively.
