This study was carried out to examine the effects of inhibiting the skin blackening and enhancement of fruit quality by prestorage treatment of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid calcium salt (C10H12N2O8Na2Ca?2H2O, EDTA-Ca) and heating on 'Niitaka' pear fruits during cold storage.
