Control of mink Aleutian disease in commercial farm

Mink cub getting, mortality, fur quality, blood serum protein level, presence of protein, bilirubin and blood pigment in urine samples were investigated on Saldus fur farm mink herb foundation in seronegative (by iodine AR, group A) and seropositive (group B) females to Aleutian disease. In group B were essentially (p0.05p0.01) smaller count of puppies in litters, highest infertility, count of litter destructions and serum protein level. Bilirubin ann blood pigment presence in urine samples would be to state only in groups of seropositive minks and of minks fallen from Aleutian disease. Iodine agglutination method was not be able to reveal about 30% of infected animals. Vitamin, iron and selenium preparation extra ration increase fur quality in seropositive minks.
