The milk yield of the modern dairy cows increase annually. As the management becomes more intensive and the number of cows per herd increases, the risk of metabolic disturbances may increase especially around parturition. The goal of our experiment was detecting exchanges in blood biochemical analyses associated with parturition approach of healthy cows at normal management (feeding) system. Changes in the blood biochemical results 3 days before parturition not essential (P0.005), but the more significant are changes in concentration of FFA, cholesterol, albumin: globulin and AST.
