Organic complexes of aluminium in brown soils in the Beskidy Mountains (Southern Poland)
Gruba, P.(Akademia Rolnicza, Krakow (Poland). Katedra Gleboznawstwa Lesnego)
Within 54 soil profiles the content of organically bound Al (Alp) was investigated. The soil profiles were located in Beskidy Mts., at elevation 600-1100 m above the sea level. In soils with visible podzolic properties, lower content of Alp was determined in eluvial horizons and higher in iluvial ones, however, the highest content of Alp was determined in cambic horizons (Bbr), underlying iluvial Bfe. It was proved that values of Alp/Cp in different soil horizons were dependent on soil pH. Thus the content of Alp investigated soil horizons was dependend on the content of soil humic substances and soil pH
