The aim of the study was to estimate the relative level of protein fraction level in yolk and albumen of egg and blood serum as well as and chosen blood physiological indices in hens of Green-legged partridge breed. Moreover, dependence between the percentage of the same protein fractions in serum and egg yolk, and interrelations between all traits and egg weight were evaluated. Low, negative dependencies between pre-albumin and beta-globulin, and positive dependencies between albumin and alpha-globulin levels in blood serum and yolk were observed. Significant, negative correlation between egg weight and pre-albumin and beta-globulin levels in serum, gamma-globulin levels in yolk, and conalbumin level in albumen were obtained. Relatively low levels of cholesterol in blood serum and high levels of hemoglobin were recorded. A significant, positive relation between hemoglobin content and egg weight was also observed
