Study on cultured of Penaeus monodon in earthen ponds by closed system with density of 37.65 postlarvae per square m in 2 crops. The first crop cultured for 143 days after experiment the average body weight, average length, average growth rate, survival rate, total production, Production per area and food Conversion Rate (FCR) were 30.3 g, 16.6 cm, 0.211 g per day, 92.6 percents, 4,209 kg, 1,691.04 kg per rai and 1.48 respectively. The average water quality in first on pond pH, Alkalinity, Salinity, Ammonia, Nitrite, Dissolved oxygen and Temperature were 7.86, 85.16 mg/l, 17.78 ppt, 1.0073 mg/l, 0.1507 mg/l, 6.25 mg/l and 29.34 deg C respectively. In the second crop after experiment the average body weight, average length, average growth rate, survival rate, total production, production per area and Food Conversion Rate (FCR) were 37.78 g, 17.85 cm, 0.258 g per day, 32.3 percents, 1,833 kg, 739.11 kg per rai and 1.73. The average water quality in second pond on pH, Alkalinity, Salinity, Ammonia, Nitrite, Dissolved oxygen and Temperature were 8.10, 93.84 mg/l, 14.72 ppt, 0.2114 mg/l, 0.0296 mg/l, 6.31 mg/l and 28.92 deg C respectively. The experiment indicated that the method of culture, pond and water preparation and stocking technic were very important to make successful of shrimp cultured in any crops.
