Substitution of corn with water hyacinth plus selfeed for growing duck

Effects of substitution of corn with water hyacinth in the diet for growing duck were studied. Seven diets comprised of 10, 20 and 30 percent water hyacinth and plus selfeed, in comparison with control. It found that throughout 8 week, body weight gain and feed conversion were not significant difference among treatments, including control ration, substituted with water hyacinth at all levels and plus selfeed. Feed intake were increasing relatively with level of water hyacinth in the diet nevertheless with and without selfeed.
