The report highlights the effects of settling people in the Gwayi/Bembesi forest areas is mainly concerned with ssowing differencies in vegitation in the relocation areas. During data collection it was established that the commonly used tree species are colophospermum mopane, baikiaea plurijuga, terminalia sericea, combretum imberbe, acacia karroo, brachystegia spiciformis and ricinodendron rautenanii. The use was mainly for construction purposes.
