Nationa Tree Planting Day is a national annual event which occurs every first Sunday of December each year wherby the Zimbabwe government encourages each and every national to plant at least one tree.This research report was designed to find out whether these ceremonies are of importance. The case study was conducted in Mashonaland east province.The findings showed that the ceremonies are very essential and go a long way in replenishing the forests cut down for many uses nationally.
