The report talks about deforestation resulting from the need to satisfy people's need for firewood in the city of Bulawayo in Matabeland region in Zimbabwe. People settling in the area having been evicted to make way for the expansion of Bulawayo town found a need to establish eucalytpus woodlot. The community embarked on woodland management and conservation laws are in place.
