[Comparative effectiveness of use of oil-seed meals from different oil crops in calves ration]

Results of scientific, economic and physiological experiments did not prove the negative influence of use of mixed fodders containing rape and mustard oil-seed meals on forages consumption, nutrients digestibility, physiological state and productivity of young cattle. In experimental groups of calves feeded by mixed fodder including 15% rape and mustard oil-seed meals the nutrients digestibility was 78,6-91,3%. In control group feeded by mixed fodder including sunflower oil-seed meals the nutrients digestibility was 71,6—91,5%. Average daily growth of living mass was 846-875 g and fodders consumption per 1 kg of weight gain was 9,70-9,97 of forage units. No differences in slaughter indices and meat composition were found
