[Theoretical principles of calculation of the required power of vertically screw mixer]

Theoretical prerequisites for the determination of spent energy for mixing in vertically screw mixers were offered. Equations analysis showed that power consumption depended on the following factors: physical and mechanical properties of mixture which were characterized by the corresponding coefficients; kinematic mode and structural parameters of the mixer: angle of screw helical curve lifting, radius of inner surface of screw housing, vanes quantity, plant angle and vanes radius, vane width and coefficient of infill
