[Modern findings on circovirus infection of pigs]

Theoretical analysis of national and foreign researches of circovirus infection of pigs caused by Circoviridae family is presented. Description of circovirus-2 and its relations with syndrome of multisystem exhaustion of weanlings are analyzed. Description of the developed methods of diagnostics of nonpathogenic circovirus-1 and pathogenic circovirus-2 by means of plural polymerase chain reaction and hybridization in situ using the specific pumps labeled by nonradioactive digoxigenin is presented. Modern methods of development of vaccines basing on inactivated vaccines created on the base of circovirus-2, subunit vaccines developed by techniques of recombinant DNA are analyzed
