In basic family farm model all production lines used in researched farms were put in competitive relation, based on existing conditions, and assigned limitations an optimal production orientation was searched for. By modification of basic model the variants of basic farm model were obtained, whose aim is recognition of the influence of certain changes on production orientation. An optimal production orientation in basic farm model of researched area is cattle breeding and vegetable production, i.e. an orientation on cattle fattening and paprika production. Parallel analysis of basic farm model and its variants shows that the highest amount of contribution margin per farm and per active household member accomplishes the variant of basic model in which exists a possibililty of hiring a paid labour force and that is orientated on livestock and vegetable production.
