Distribution and plant availability of zinc in Serbian smonitza fractions

The sequential extraction method was applied in the investigations in order to determine availability of native zinc. Considering that Zn deficit was registered in studied Serbian smonitza the aim was closer determination of its existing forms in soil by sequential extraction which will make possible for us to consider more clearly its mobility and plant availability. The investigation included 20 soil samples (from each meadow and arable land), which varied widely in chemical and physical properties. The Zn uptake was investigated on oat plants (Avena sativa L.).
