Intergranular aquifer of Zeta valley hides precious water potential, from the point of view of water supplying. In regard to that, it presents the degree of distortion of natural groundwater balance, made my external influence, measured by using geochemical parameters between 1996 and 2005. With getting insight into interrelations of ions of 283 analyzed samples, and calculated ciefficient ratio Ca/Ma (equiv.) the degree of distortion of natural groundwater balance of water in downstream part of catchments area of Moraca river is estimated. Pollutants originate from the activities of the aluminium plant located in the catchments area of downstream part of Moraca river but they are also introduce by Cijevna river enriched by nutrients in quantities that are up to 10 times higher the allowed contents of phenol.
