This work is emphasizing on some specifities of hydrogeological watersheds and the directions of movement of aquifer waters in karstic terrains of Montenegro, which are determined by: lithological composition, texture characteristics of rock formations, structure and rupture characteristics of terrain, the degree of karstification of carbonate rocks, distribution of impermeable rocks, i.e. hydrogeological barriers in the terrain. The conclusions are given on the bases of former hydrogeological explorations, first of all, the numerous experiments of aquifer waters tracing, performed in the karstic terrains of Montenegro for various purposes.
