In 2005, the Jaroslav Cerni Institute, Belgrade (Serbia) and Beoinzenjering 2000, Belgrade (Serbia) conducted a study commissioned by the Water Directorate of Serbia, titled General Study of Streamlining Groundwater Abstraction as a Function of Reduction in Water Losses within Regional Public Water Supply Systems in Serbia. This paper is an overview of the Study and its outcomes.
