The objective of this research is to control the quantity of rice-transplanter seedlings. We developed a hill space detector, a seedling detector, and a rice transplanter with an automatic control system to adjust the quantity of seedlings. Field tests have confirmed that it can control the quantity of seedlings to the number of seedlings for transplanting.
