This study was conducted to investigate the effect of thiobencarb (GR), butachlor (GR), clomazone/butachlor EC, and pyrazosulfuron-ethyl/molinate (GR) before seeding on weeding in water-seeded rice for 3 years from 1999 to 2001. In corrugated furrow water seeding, seeding stand was enough by 125~132 no./㎡ in thiobencarb (3 DBS) and thiobencarb (3 DBS) followed by pyrazosulfuron-ethyl/molinate (GR) than control. But, butachlor (GR) 3 kg 10a-¹ caused a rice injury. And control efficacy of soil surface treatment of thiobencarb (GR), 3 days before seeding (DBS) showed over 76% at 60 days after seeding (DAS).
