The issue of the facilitation development of territories in Latvia regional economic is significant under the EU conditions. The level of region economical development can be characterized by gross domestic problems per capita, the number of economically active enterprises and businesses per 1000 inhabitants, non financial investments per capita per year, the amount of income tax on average per capita and unemployment level. The private consumption expenditure structure has considered for the regional development analysis. For the region with higher development level the part of food in the total private consumption expenditure structure must be smaller than for the regions with lower development level. It was shown that Latvia regions are significantly different except Vidzeme and Zemgale.
