Competitiveness and quality problems of commodity

The article deals with the main problem of the market economy - competitiveness of commodity. Comparison of competitiveness and quality of commodity has been examined, different indexes and models to estimate level of competitiveness of commodity for successful company's strategy have also been analysed. It shows different access to pricing methods, oriented on chance to note consumer properties and product quality, which expresses itself in use of complex number, which allows calculating product price, ideally satisfying consumer's needs. This is an important element in product quality management system and competitiveness provision.
