Pakistan is essentially a farming community, with 70% of the country ispopulation living in rural areas and over 50% of them are engaged in farming andagro-based pursuits. Article describes the effect of drought on crop fieldlivestock, water resources and human health. Suggestions are given to over comethe problem of drought in Pakistan.
