The effect of crop rotation and fertilization on the weediness of canopy and soil

In the paper there was discussed the weediness of plants depending on its cultivation system (crop rotation and monoculture), forecrop and fertilization system. It is based on results of long-term field experiments carried out in 1962-01. Plants cultivation in monoculture led to increase of total number and air dry matter of weeds in canopy. There were negative changes in the weed species composition. Plants cultivated in monoculture contributed to accumulation of Apera spica-venti in winter wheat. Avena fatua in spring barley and field pea and Echinochloa crus-galli in sugar beets
