The study aimed at estimation the influence of crops sequence and herbicide on weeds number and species composition in sowinh peas plantation after emergences. In crop rotation 1993-98, on cronrol plots without chemical protection, there were 239 weeds, whereas in the monoculture there were 441 plants per square m. topogard herbicide, applied after sowing, reduced their numbers by 73.3 and 64.1 percent, respectively. In the investigation cycle, herbicide reduced the number of weeds more effectively down to 53 in crop rotation and 188 plants per square m, in the cultivation of pea after itself i.e. by 81.1 and 72.8 percent, respectively
