Development directions of cooperative dairies in integrated European market

A study was conducted in 47 cooperative dairies in Poland. The aim was to identify the main areas in which changes should be made to best adapt the dairies to EU norms. The results identified four areas for adaptation: the first area was the adjustment of milk quality produced in Poland to EU standards. The second was minimalizing the costs of raw material production, purchasing and processing. The third concerned changes in the structure of the dairy industry and, finally, the fourth concerned changes in support instruments to those applied in the EU
