Certification and control of organic farm products

In this article there have been reviewed the standard procedures of control and certification in Bulgaria of organic products, as well as the necessary documentations, needed during the inspection of a plant-growing-farm, a stock-breeding or of mixed-farms. There is commended the huge documentation and the strict procedure needed to obtain the certificate for organic farming, the weaknesses of the control and certification system as well as the comparatively high price of this activity, which most of the small-sized organic producers can not afford. There is given a recomendation to the interested in organic farming's development state bodies to find efficient tools in future assisting of bio-producers in Bulgaria
