The study was carried out for a one-year period (March 1999 – February 2000) in two buildings for cage-laying-hens from different enterprises in the country. In the first building (№ 1) were bred 16 500 laying hens from the hybrid andldquo;Dji-Linkandrdquo; and in the second one (№ 2), 20 700 laying hens from the hybrid andldquo;RA-4andrdquo;. It was found that: Between the laying capacity of the hens and the abiotic parameters of the environment existed positive correlations (with the volume of the air exchange of the building, air temperature, air velocity, lightening) and negative ones (with dust, NH3, H2S and CO2 content in the air, and relative humidity of the air). Between the mortality of the hens and the abiotic parameters of the environment existed positive correlations (with dust, NH3, H2S and CO2 content in the air, temperature, relative humidity and air velocity) and negative ones (with volume of the air exchange of the building, lightenin g). The increase of the number of abiotic parameters of the environment in the multiple correlation analysis demonstrated their stronger complex impact on the laying capacity of the hens.
