Results on technical fruit features of ordinary and large-fruited walnut sorts on the territory of Belarus and Poland. Big range of fruit weight (6.3-24.0 g) and nutshell thickness (1.3-3.4 mm) of the studied samples was established. No plants with high kernel production were found. The form K-7-01 was selected for adequate technical quality parameters for first-class kernels (nut weight – 13.1, kernel output – 46%, nutshell thickness – 1.4 mm). Distinctions on all studied parameters of technical endocarp quality at ordinary and large-fruited forms of a walnut in Belarus and Poland are established. Under mass characteristics endocarps of a walnut of ordinary variety modify from very small up to large. At a large-fruited form - from large up to very large. Samples were characterized by very low and low maintenance of a kernel. The mass fraction of a shell and partitions at the studied samples has made 48-64 % and 1-6 % correspondingly. The majority of the Polish samples had the thick shell exceeding 1.7 mm. The great mass of Belarusian samples had a shell of average thickness. Allocated form K-7-01, which nuts surpass on an output of a kernel a large-fruited Pamyati Minova variety, has weight not less than 10 g and average thickness of a shell that allows to carry them to the first commodity grade
