[Particular features of Belarus entry into WTO: agricultural aspect]

Requirements in the sphere of agriculture of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to the new applicant countries are substantiated. The specific features of tariff rates formation and use of the financial support of commodity producers are formulated. Propositions on the international trade development policies in the negotiation process of the Republic of Belarus entry into WTO are made. Impossibility of free access of the Belarusian products into the world foreign markets in case of Belarus entry into WTO is analyzed. The following reasons of the distant future trends of Belarus entry into WTO are analyzed: capacities of agricultural products export are very small that is why it is not advisable to spend material and financial means for the decision of commercial trade disputes; in the Republic of Belarus there are no experts who are skillfully able to stand up for the national interests in accordance with the international standards. Strategy of the Republic of Belarus should be fairly directed towards the maximum level of home food market protection from the expansion of importers and creation of the parity conditions for the national commodity producers by means of decision-making on the level of the optimal size of the state financial support as well as the fixation of the acceptable values of the foreign customs
